Adam Nazro

Drummer / Session Musician / Producer

 

Adam Nazro is a Boston-based drummer, session musician, and producer whose career spans musical theater, big bands, major concert productions, orchestral performances and recording.

 

His musical theater credits include Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York) in its pre-Broadway production at ART, Suffs –The First National Tour, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Parade, See What I Wanna See, and Waitress, among many others. On the concert stage, Adam has performed La La Land in Concert, Undertale: The Determination Symphony, Final Fantasy Distant Worlds, Symphonic Anime and NieR Orchestra, all at Symphony Hall and The Wang Theater.  As an active big band drummer, Adam Nazro spent many years touring the North East with several bands including the Hal McIntyre Big Band and Latshaw Big Band.  He has also performed with the Portland Symphony Orchestra, internationally acclaimed Italian vocal trio Il Volo and singer songwriter Ari Hest.

 

Beyond musical theater and concert work, Adam is a Co-founder and leader of Steel Rhythm Steel Drum Band.  As the drummer, arranger and producer, he has performed at hundreds of venues including Fenway Park for The Boston Red Sox and Gillette Stadium for The New England Patriots Cheerleaders and produced three albums that have collectively surpassed 12 million streams on YouTube and millions on other streaming platforms. 

 

His drumming can be heard in the Hulu documentary Imported, recorded at his custom-built studio, Rhythmic Waves Recording. As a drummer, recording artist, and producer, Adam has performed on a diverse range of projects, including video game soundtracks, singer-songwriter recordings, and jazz albums. Rhythmic Waves Recording is also where the latest Steel Rhythm album, Island Vibes, was recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered by Adam.

 

Adam is known for his versatility, musicality, and ability to deliver at a high level across demanding productions with a collaborative, and highly professional approach to every project.
